After Mainz 2003, Jülich 2004, Düsseldorf 2005, Grenoble 2007, Mainz 2008, Mainz 2009, and Utrecht 2011 the Young Researcher Meeting 2012 of the SFB-TR6 will be held at the University of Konstanz.
The meeting is aimed at all young researchers (PhD students, postdocs) employed in the various SFB projects. Even though colloids are a uniting theme in all projects, the individual topics and the different experimental and theoretical methods appear to be quite diverse, especially to younger researchers in the field. Therefore, every participant is given the opportunity to present his or her project to the others. The focus should be on conveying the basic ideas of the physics background and of the methodological choice to the audience.

In order to stimulate a lively discussion among peers, NO PROJECT LEADERS OR SENIOR PEOPLE will be present. Thus the conductance of the meeting is entirely in the hands of the participants themselves. The organizer will try to group the talks in appropriate sessions and appoint a chairperson for each session.
